Dr. Bourgeois serves as chairman of the Executive Committee of Lafayette General Surgical Hospital. A lifelong resident of Lafayette, Louisiana, Dr. Bourgeois earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from LSU School of Medicine. He completed a postdoctoral internship and residency program in Ophthalmology with LSU Medical Center.
